From 2001 to 2011, Neef was a member of the Friedhelm Loh Group, which provided optimum conditions for the company's subsequent development.
Neef doubled its capacity with the opening of a new fleet of presses in Gera in 2005. In 2011, two further servo-presses with a pressing force of 1,100 and 1,600 tonnes respectively were added.
Having fine-tuned its organisational structures, the company is now poised to tackle the challenges of both the present and the future with renewed vigour, and became independent in September 2011.
